Certified Dealerships adhere to a "Consumer Bill of Rights" which is posted in the store.   This document lets you know what to expect from the dealership.   It is your assurance that every customer is treated fairly and equally.

Earned.   Not Awarded.

Dealerships cannot buy Marine Industry Dealership Certification; they must earn it.   To earn Certification, dealerships must demonstrate their commitment to excellence by meeting benchmarks and standards in key areas that affect dealership quality:

  • Customer Satisfaction
  • Professional sales, service, parts and follow-up processes
  • Employee training, development and satisfaction
  • Technical training
  • Facility and grounds upkeep and competitiveness

Program participants are evaluated in each of the above areas by an independent third-party consultant.   To maintain Certification, they must recommit and be reevaluated every year.
